Wright County Parks & Recreation enhances your online experience with new digital look
Wright County Parks & Recreation opened 2024 with a new digital look. The online experience has become such an integral part of everyday life, and the Department knew it was time to do some upgrades. In December, a new public website was launched focusing on navigation, ease of use, and getting people the information quicker. The new website was a team effort, as the Parks & Recreation Department worked closely with the Information Technologies Department to create this new experience. To date, the reception has been positive for the new public website. You can view it at http://www.co.wright.mn.us/parks.
The other big digital switch was the online reservation/registration portal for the Department. The Department worked for four months to prepare the new reservation/registration portal to go live for shelter reservations that opened on January 2, 2024. The new system is hosted by Vermont Systems, who have been in the parks and recreation industry since 1985. If you have reserved a campsite or registered for program with Three Rivers Park District or Anoka County Parks, you will be familiar with the platform. Those two entities have utilized Vermont Systems for many years. The Wright County Parks & Recreation Department is excited for both of these roll outs and hope the public will enjoy the changes. To set up an account or to view the new reservation/registration portal you can visit https://web2.myvscloud.com/wbwsc/mnwrightcountywt.wsc/splash.html.
Be sure to keep up with the Department through Facebook (wrightparksmn) for all the latest information. This will be important as the campground reservation opening approaches on March 4, 2024, at 8 a.m. There will be tips, instructions, and information about the process for online reservations for campgrounds that will be announced as that date approaches.
