George Dolan, 74

George A. Dolan, age 74, of Buffalo, Minnesota. Born July 27, 1949, passed away on August 24, 2023, peacefully after a long battle with heart disease.

He met Sharon in 1979, and they were married in 1988. 

George had a passion for music, listening, and playing his guitars. He was a true rock-n-roller. George loved collector cars and car shows. He enjoyed retirement on his lake home, spending time with his wife and son. He enjoyed going out on his pontoon boat.

George had many lifelong friends and enjoyed telling stories about them.  

Survived by his wife, Sharon Dolan; son, Ryan Dolan; daughter, Kristine Haney; granddaughter, Grace Haney; grandson, Hogan Haney; along with many other relatives and friends.

George is preceded in death by his father, George Dolan; mother, Ruth Dolan; sister, Katherine Olson (Dolan); brother, Timothy Dolan; mother-in-law, Dorothy Gates; and son-in-law, Rodrick Haney.

A celebration of life luncheon will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at Bison Creek Event Center, 1207 North Highway 25, Buffalo, Minnesota 55313.

Marie Kiphuth, 88

Marie Helen (Ende) Kiphuth, age 88, of Buffalo, passed away on August 24, 2023. 

She was born on May 4, 1935, in Maple Grove, Minnesota, the daughter of William “Bill” and Helen (Whiteford) Ende. 

On November 26, 1955, Marie Ende and Benjamin J. Kiphuth were joined in holy marriage in Buffalo. God blessed their marriage with three children.

Marie and her husband farmed for many years, and she was a cook at the Buffalo High School for twenty-six years. She enjoyed gardening and doing crafts.

Survived by her children, Randy Kiphuth, Gale “Tootie” Lewis, and Pam Kiphuth; grandchildren, Dustin (Serena) Lewis, Cassy Lewis, Anna Kiphuth, and Miles (Lacey) Kiphuth; great-grandchildren, Angel (Taylor) Kiphuth, and Blake Kiphuth; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Benajmin J. Kiphuth; son-in-law, Al Carey; daughter-in-law, Heidi Kiphuth; sister, Rita Bitzer; and brother, Jim Ende.

Funeral service for Marie Kiphuth was held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 11:30 A.M. at St. Michael Catholic Church. Deacon Steven Dupay officiated. Interment followed at St. Mark’s Cemetery – Pelican Lake.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 30, beginning at 9:30 A.M. at St. Michael Catholic Church.

Casket bearers were Randy Kiphuth, Anna Kiphuth, Miles Kiphuth, Gale Lewis, Dusty Lewis, and Cassy Lewis.

William Wagner, 83

William “Bill” August Wagner age 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at The Glenn Memory Care in Buffalo, MN.

He was born on January 22, 1940, to August and Ruth (Bruska) Wagner on the family farm.  

Bill was baptized on January 24, 1940. He was also instructed in the Lutheran Catechism and confirmed in the Lutheran faith on May 9, 1954. His confirmation memory verse was Proverbs 23:26 “My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.”

He lived on the farm his entire life, until his mother moved to an apartment. He then moved to a small trailer house.

Bill went to the country school named Schmidt School (District 88). He attended this school until the seventh grade. He then stayed home to help his dad on the family farm. Bill later worked in Delano at the BMI Door Company.

On Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2016, he was driving to his sister’s place to celebrate Thanksgiving, and he was involved in a car accident. After the accident, he moved to the Monticello Nursing Home and later moved to Lake Ridge Assisted Living. In 2022, he was moved to The Glenn Memory Care. Bill entered hospice care on April 4, 2023.

Survived by his sisters, Cynthia (Franklin) Hohl and Diane (Donald) Munsterteiger, all of Buffalo; nieces and nephews, Michele (Don) Czanstkowski, Jeff  Munsterteiger (fiancé Misi Stein), Chad Munsterteiger, Malinda Munsterteiger, Lisa (Keith) Pfeffer, Teresa (Steve) Frykholm, Terri (Brian) Kenmir, and Brad Hohl; great-nieces and great-nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Harris Wagner.

Funeral services for William “Bill” Wagner were held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church – Pelican Lake. Reverend Christopher Oehlke officiated. Visitation took place one hour prior to services AT THE CHURCH on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Interment followed at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Jeff Munsterteiger, Chad Munsterteiger, Donald Czanstkowski, Brad Hohl, Brian Kenmir, and Steve Frykholm.

The family would like to extend a thank you to The Glenn Memory Care and Brighton Hospice for their excellent care of Bill. Also, thank you to Pastor Oehlke for his prayers and visits.

Dean Woolstencroft, 86

Dean C. Woolstencroft, age 86, of Monticello, formerly of Buffalo, died Friday, August 25, 2023, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Funeral Liturgy will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Maple Lake with visitation one hour prior to the service. Fr. Kevin Magner will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in Chatham Township, Maple Lake.

Dean Carleton Woolstencroft was born October 8, 1936, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to William and Cyllene (Butler) Woolstencroft. He graduated from White Bear Lake High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. On October 3, 1964, Dean was united in marriage to Helen Jeanette Elsenpeter in St. Paul. Dean worked as a CPA and as a computer programmer for numerous companies. Dean and Jeanette lived in many cities and states over the years before retiring to Buffalo, Minnesota, in 2000; they have lived for the past four years in Monticello. Dean enjoyed gardening, traveling, taking photos, and working and playing on computers. His greatest joy came when camping and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette, of Monticello; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Aloysius “Al” and Patricia Elsenpeter, Harold Elsenpeter, and Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Cyllene Woolstencroft; brother, William Woolstencroft; sister, Ruth Carlson; brother-in-law, Dcn. Gregory Elsenpeter; sister-in-law, Mary Woolstencroft; and nephew Joseph Elsenpeter.

Jacqueline Wurm, 61

Jacqueline R. Wurm, age 61, of Buffalo, died Sunday, August 27, 2023, at her home in Maple Lake Township.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 7, 2023, at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Maple Lake with Fr. Kevin Magner as Celebrant. Visitation was held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. on Thursday, both at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Maple Lake.

Jacqueline Rose Wurm was born in Buffalo to Leo and Cecelia (Davis) Pribyl. She grew up in Maple Lake, graduating from Maple Lake High School. On July 18, 1981, Jackie was united in marriage to Daniel John Wurm at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Maple Lake. They lived and raised their family in Maple Lake. Jackie owned and operated IntegriPrint in Buffalo. She was a member of the Church of St. Timothy, the Buffalo Rotary Club, Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, and Business Women Owners.

Jackie was always active and running for work, family, or her community. She enjoyed traveling, riding motorcycle and bicycle, walking, completing puzzles, shopping, getting her nails done, going out with friends and family, playing with her grandkids, and snuggling up in the gazebo with Rusty and a good book. She loved being with family and bringing them together, often through her baking of popcorn balls at Halloween or Christmas cookies during the holiday season. 

Jackie is survived by her husband, Daniel Wurm, of Buffalo; children, Felicia (Mike) Ehrenberg, of Buffalo, and Travis (Andrea) Wurm, of Buffalo; grandchildren, Ty and Natalia Ehrenberg, and Brielle Wurm; grandchild to be born any day, Brynlee Wurm; brothers and sister, Larry (Karen) Pribyl, Bonnie (Richard) Erdahl, and Timothy (Pam) Pribyl, all of Maple Lake; brother-in-law, Gary Carlson, of Maple Lake; her faithful dog, Rusty; and many colleagues, friends, and relatives. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Pribyl; mother, Cecelia Pribyl Mavencamp; sister, Lois Carlson; and step-father, William Mavencamp.

The urn bearers will be Travis Wurm, Felicia Ehrenberg, Ty Ehrenberg, Larry Pribyl, Bonnie Erdahl, Timothy Pribyl, and Chelsie Schmid. Krista Elsenpeter and Sarah Goelz will provide the music for the service.
