Patricia Beyer, 86

Patricia Ann Beyer, 86, passed away peacefully at home on June 8, 2026, surrounded by her children and her beloved dog, Frankie. 

Born on October 15, 1939, in Fairmont, Minnesota, Patricia was the youngest of eight children born to Adolf and Lillian Rosenwinkel. She spent her life anchored by a deep devotion to her family and a joy for connecting with others. Growing up as the youngest of eight siblings, Patricia truly understood the value of a big, close-knit family. She absolutely treasured the many family reunions and frequent get-togethers hosted on the family farm. The farm served as the heartbeat of the family—a place filled with endless laughter, shared home-cooked meals, and storytelling. It was there that generations gathered, creating a beautiful tapestry of memories rooted in love and tradition. 

Alongside her deep Midwestern roots, among Patricia’s happiest times were her annual winter vacations to Key West, Florida. She cherished escaping the cold to bask in the sunshine. Patricia deeply loved the wonderful, lifelong friends she made during her seasons there, creating a second home filled with warmth and beautiful memories.

She is survived by her sons, Greg and Jeff; her daughters, Kari and Ann; her daughter-in-law, Stacie; her sons-in-law, John and Ryan; her sisters, Joline, Eunice, and Leah; and brother, Mike. Patricia is also survived by her grandchildren, Ashley, Victoria, Kaylee, Samantha, Jessica, James, Jake, Maija, Chloe, and Kolton; and great-grandchildren, Keenan, Rowan, Torin, Tayla, Cora, Aubrey, and Fiona. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; her parents; and her brothers, Arden, Lowell, and Rollo.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 4:00 P.M. at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, 507 Calder Ave. NE, Buffalo, MN 55313.

Madaline Frost, 30

Madaline Anne “Maddy” Frost, age 30, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026, after a courageous battle with Huntington’s disease.

Born on July 17, 1995, Maddy was known for her big smile, kind heart, quick wit, and fiercely loyal spirit. She loved deeply, faced life’s challenges with courage and determination, and brought laughter and joy to those around her. Maddy treasured her family and friends and will be remembered for her compassion, resilience, and unwavering capacity to love.

Maddy was preceded in death by her father, Thomas “Tommy” Frost; and her grandfathers, Tom Frost Sr., Jerry “Pops” Kroeger, and Garry Neururer.

She is survived by her parents, Aaron and Rachel Neururer; her siblings, Max Frost and Ava Neururer; her grandmothers, Mavis Frost, Kris Kroeger, and Michele Bradway; her aunt and uncle, Scott and Kathleen Frost; her uncle, Chris Frost; her aunt, Nissa Manley; her uncle, Mike Pelmulder; her cousins, Elizabeth Lang, Amanda Frost, Marley Neururer, Tommy Manley, and Julia Manley; her dear friends, Dalton Lammers and Sydney Summers; and many extended family members and friends.

While Huntington’s disease became part of Maddy’s journey, it never became her identity. It may have shortened her life, but it never diminished her spirit, her humor, her kindness, or her capacity to love.

To be loved by Maddy was to be loved fiercely, loyally, and genuinely. That love remains her gift to all of us.

A Celebration of Maddy’s Life will be held from 12 noon to 4:00 P.M., Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the home of Scott and Kathy Frost - 122 Broadway Avenue N., Wayzata, MN 55391.

Faith Hofman, 86

Faith Marie Hofman, age 86, of Crystal, former longtime resident of Buffalo, died Friday, June 5, 2026, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

Memorial Services were held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Golden Valley Lutheran Church in Golden Valley with Pastor Bruce Laabs officiating. Burial was held at Lakeview Cemetery, near Silver Creek. Visitation began at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.

Faith Marie Kurz was born on December 20, 1939, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, to Oscar and Selma (Carlson) Kurz. Raised in Annandale, Faith attended Annandale Public School. On March 21, 1956, she married her soulmate, Milton P. Hofman, in Silver Creek Township, embarking on a journey of 70 years filled with devotion and partnership. Together, they cultivated a nurturing home in Buffalo, where they raised their children and spent 62 years before relocating to Crystal.

Faith dedicated her professional life to the grocery industry as a meat wrapper at Holmquist Grocery in Buffalo. A dedicated member of her faith community, she was initially part of Annandale United Methodist Church, later attending St. John’s Lutheran Church in Buffalo, and most recently, Golden Valley Lutheran Church.

In her leisure time, Faith embraced the beauty of nature while fishing with Milton during their younger years. She found joy in crocheting. Faith was also an avid traveler, having explored all 50 states. She reveled in the thrill of geocaching with family, amassing an impressive collection of over 14,000 geocaches, turning each outing into an adventure filled with connection and discovery.

Above all, Faith loved her family deeply, cherishing every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Her legacy of love will continue to light the way for those she leaves behind.

Faith is survived by her husband, Milton, of Crystal; children, Douglas (Natalie), of Blaine, Rebecca, of Rosemount, Steven (Mary), of East Bethel, and Bruce (Emily), of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Rachel, Rick II, Jennifer (Mark), Anthony, Matthew, Gretchen (Jordan), Savannah, Christina, Brandon (Patricia), Hunter, Laura (Christopher), Timothy, Sandra (Paul), Tabitha (Scott), Ryan, Sarah, Allena, and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Tyler (Alexis), Devon, Sarah, Maverick, Noah, Avery, Owen, Stella, Sawyer, Stevie, Julian, Adalyn, Joseph, Ryan, Annabelle, Elizabeth, Christian, Thomas, Gemma, Willow, and Autumn; and one great-great-grandchild on the way; nieces and nephew, Lorie Hegle, Katherine Decker, and Joseph Hofman; and other family members and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Rick; grandson, Jacob; brother, David Kurz; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roger and Kathleen Hofman; and niece, Patricia Hofman.
