Mother's Day Gardening Project

Are you finding yourself homeschooling and in need of a fun science lesson? Do you need an activity to keep the kids busy for 30 minutes? Need a last-minute Mother's Day gift? Want to brighten the neighbor’s day? We have an easy at home gardening activity for kids! 

Simply take 4 disposable cups of any kind and have the kids decorate them. Add stickers, color with markers, paint them, the opportunities are endless. Adding a couple small drain holes in the bottom is a plus too!

Fill the cups 3/4 full with dirt. 

Break 4 pack of Annuals apart and place one plant in each cup. 

Add a bit more dirt to hold the plant in place. 

Make someone's day! 

Make it more educational by having the kids research the plant and add a care taking instruction sheet to attach as a great gift.
