Anniversaries

50th Anniversary

     Glenn and Darlene (Lange) Jude, of Dayton, formerly of Maple Lake and Buffalo, will be celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. They were married on July 6, 1974, at the Catholic church in Buffalo. Dayton has been their home since.

     Their marriage has been blessed with children and grandchildren: daughter, Tami and Jamie, of Albertville; son, Tony and Abby, of Buffalo; grandson, Taylor; and granddaughters, Brooke, Gracie, and Clare.

Scholarships

National Merit Scholarships

     National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced over 2,900 winners of National Merit Scholarships financed by U.S. colleges and universities. These awards provide between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the institution financing the scholarship.

     The following students received a College-sponsored Merit   Scholarship.

     Corcoran - Ishaan D. Mehta, National Merit University of Minnesota Scholarship, Probable career field: Electrical Engineering.

     Delano - Meredith R. Duis, National Merit Purdue University Scholarship, Probable career field: Biomedical Engineering.

     Delano - Megan A. Westberg, National Merit Liberty University Scholarship, Probable career field: Biology.

     St. Michael - Christopher M. Falk, National Merit University of Alabama Scholarship, Probable career field: Actuarial Science.

     St. Michael - Yiqian Zheng, National Merit University of Minnesota Scholarship, Probable career field: Science/Research.
