#BuffaloStrong and #AllinaStrong

Following the Feb. 9 shooting at the Allina Clinic in Buffalo, community members have stepped up to take care of each other and offer support to those affected by the tragic event.

A website, BuffaloStrong.care was almost immediately launched, offering information for fundraisers, events, and ways to show Buffalo pride. Residents purchased purple lights for their homes and yard signs, t-shirts, and masks were designed. On Tuesday, Feb. 16, a week after the incident, people wore purple clothing as a sign of solidarity.

To say the community has offered a helping hand is an understatement. From showing up to provide meals, housecleaning, and more, it’s evident that Buffalo is more than simply a place to live; it’s a family.

In honor of our tight-knit community, we compiled a handful of photos that show the support of our Buffalo and Allina communities. From local businesses, to sports teams and families, these photos just scratch the surface of how incredible the response has been in a time of need.

As the Buffalo Strong website shares: “We will connect to each other. We will care for each other. And we will continue making Buffalo a place that supports every one of us.”
