Wright County Fair celebrates 150th year

The 150th Wright County Fair was held last week, from July 21-25, and the event drew in thousands of fans and participants, all eager to enjoy the festivities after the 2020 Fair was canceled due to COVID restrictions.

Though the weather was hot, moments of cloud coverage offered some relief, and cool treats - shave ice, ice cream, lemonade, and more - helped, too. Despite the heat, though, fairgoers were determined to enjoy the event.

From the 4-H buildings and competitions, to the demolition derby, truck and tractor pull, musical performances, and carnival rides and games, the Wright County Fair offered a variety of entertainment, working hard to make the 150th celebration extra-special.

Though the Fair wrapped up on Sunday, July 25, the anticipation for the 2022 summer event is already growing. See you next year at the Fair!
