Pink Street Party '17

The 2017 Pink Street Party in downtown Buffalo was capped by a spectacular laser light show in the former Coborn's parking lot.  Displayed while music played, the laser show followed the reading of tribute lists of those being remembered, those being honored, those being celebrated, and those being supported.  (Photos by Ed DuBois)

The railing along the lakeshore walkway in downtown Buffalo was decorated with lights resembling pink ribbons.  The city's lake fountain is in the background.

Pink items bought at Wise Penny Thrift Shop are worn by Laurie Forbes of Rockford at the Pink Street Party.

Sassy is dressed for the occasion.  She accompanied the Tessmer family of Fairhaven.

Lights covered this tree in pink near the downtown commons.

A Chevy on display at the party has a big pink ribbon on the hood.

A check for $20,000 is presented by Team Huro of Maple Lake.  Mike Huro and his daughter, Casey, are holding the check.  Representing the Buffalo Hospital Foundation, Ashley Andersen and Karla Heeter (right), are accepting the donation.  Team Huro has donated $50,000 over the past three years.
