Healthy babies, healthy families
lead to healthy communities

Public Health Nurse Karen Eder, above right, demonstrates a home visiting activity with a family. Notice that they are all on the floor. Being on the floor adds relaxation to the home visit, both for the family and for the nurse. (Photos courtesy of Wright County Public Health)

Public Health Nurse Casey Henre, above left, demonstrates a home visiting activity with a family. This activity provides sorting colors and shapes, as well as touching water.

Above from left, Public Health Nurses Casey Henre, Katie Loftus, and Karen Eder show some of the tools they use when visiting parents with young children in Wright County. Some of the tools include books and activities that the parents can use to stimulate the minds of their babies.

Wright County provides home visits by nurses to help families with small children succeed.
